Lesson plan is a vital component of the teaching learning- process. Proper classroom planning keep the teachers organized and be prepared for what and how he/she will teach, thus allowing them to teach more, and help students to reach the learning objectives more easily. The better prepared the teacher is, the more he/she will be able to handle whatever unexpectedly happens in the lesson, and be able to answer any question that the student might ask. Planning is imagining the lesson before it happens. Lesson planning:
- Helps the teacher to be more organized
- Helps the teacher to be more confident when delivering a lesson
- Gives a sense of direction in relation to the syllabus
- Provides a coherent framework for efficient teaching
- Aims to be achieved
- Content to be taught
- The lessons in the book to be included or skipped
- Different assessment tasks to be provided to students

The way I am planning today for my students is different from the way I have planned before, and the courses I have learned in the teaching diploma helps me to improve myself toward the better. Planning is very important for teachers, it helps them to save time because previous lesson plan could be useful for the future lessons with little modifications. Lesson plans helps teachers to manage their effort time and resources.
