Why is it important to have FRIENDS??

Have you ever imagined your life without having a friend or friends??.As is rightly said:" A friend in need is a friend indeed". Friends are an important part of individual's life, they always share with us , advise when we had a problem, make us feel happy and optimistic, help us whatever the problem is and whenever we are, make you learn new things, sometimes they teach you ,cheer you up, offer you love , care , and respect, even when you have a secret you tell them. Life without them is quiet boring. They are usually considered one of the biggest strengths of a person apart from the family. It would not be wrong to say that good friends simply become apart of your family, the only difference being that family and blood relations are made by god but friends are made by individuals in their lives. Imagine yourself where nobody neither your mother, or your brothers and sisters are in your house, and you have a doubt about something , or want an advise, so with whom you would share?? In my point of view, I would immediately call for my friend to come because I trust her.

"Education is not preparation of life;education is life itself". When I watch kids going to school I always try to think what they really thing about school, and what exactly are their main goals in their lives. The Importance of Lesson Planning

Lesson plan is a vital component of the teaching learning- process. Proper classroom planning keep the teachers organized and be prepared for what and how he/she will teach, thus allowing them to teach more, and help students to reach the learning objectives more easily. The better prepared the teacher is, the more he/she will be able to handle whatever unexpectedly happens in the lesson, and be able to answer any question that the student might ask. Planning is imagining the lesson before it happens. Lesson planning:
  • Helps the teacher to be more organized
  • Helps the teacher to be more confident when delivering a lesson
  • Gives a sense of direction in relation to the syllabus
  • Provides a coherent framework for efficient teaching
When teachers plan a lesson, he/she should take following decisions:
  • Aims to be achieved
  • Content to be taught
  • The lessons in the book to be included or skipped
  • Different assessment tasks to be provided to students

How to Overcome Student Anxiety During Exam?

Test anxiety is an uneasiness experienced before , during, or after an examination because of worry or fear. Almost everyone experiences some anxiety. But some students find that anxiety interferes with their learning and their test taking to an extent that their grades are seriously and negatively affected. Students should keep in mind that they should find a way(s) to reduce this anxiety to not interfere anymore on their learning performance, but this anxiety should  not be eliminated at all. This is due to that anxiety has a benefit in making them "up" in exams. Indeed, high level of anxiety will make the student not concentrating well , so, he/she can not respond to the provided questions. All  what that student facing this problem could do is to: Attend all of your classes, know when the exams are scheduled, study in a location where you can concentrate, get interested in the material, and give it your complete attention. Don't say to yourself:"Everyone in this class is smarter and faster than me", instead try always to think that you really can do your best just keep calm, relax, and always work on yourself.

The Influence of Classroom Environment on Learning

We see in almost all schools and in all classes misbehavior and behavior students. The classroom environment has a powerful influence on learning, and children's perceptions of that environment influence their behavior. The most successful students are those that show to the teacher their trust, respect, care, show motivation during the instruction period, involvement, interest to acquire new information. On the other hand, there are another group of students which are the least successful students who perceived the class to be more teacher controlled and competitive. These big differences come from the teacher of the way he/she treats his/her classmates. The teacher is responsible for:

  • Being able to show caring, and respect to all students
  • Providing students with interesting, challenging work that makes them engaged more
  • Create safe, non-threatening environment where learning is less competitive and students are able to form supportive relationships with one another
  • Treating all students equally and evoking bias
  • Answering student's questions
  • Giving the opportunity for all to participate during class activities and discussions
  • Knowing how to behave with the misbehavior(s)

Importance of Using Teaching Models

What are models of teaching? They are 7 models:
  1. Group interaction model
  2. Inductive model
  3. Concept attainment model
  4. Integrative model
  5. Problem-based learning model
  6. Direct-instruction model
  7. Lecture-discussion model
Models are specific approaches to instruction which:
  • Promote awareness about how teachers will teach
  •  Helps students learn how to learn
  • Increases probability of learning certain skills/knowledge.
  •  Are grounded in learning and motivation theory
  • Designed to reach specific learning objectives
The teacher should pay attention that each topic or a lesson should be taught according to a specific model, that is, if a teacher planned for her students to teach them about a certain topic he/she should know depending on that topic and on the characteristics of each model, what is the suitable model to be used.
In addition, models accelerate the rate of learning,  capacity, and facility in learning.

The Effect of Teacher's Behavior in Class Toward Students

Students are highly influenced of how teachers treat them in the classroom mainly either positively or negatively. When the teacher during his/her explanation in the classroom, the teacher might ask hard questions and expect that all students must answer correctly or they will be punished. Indeed, this pessimistic teacher when sees a student talking to another student, he/she will shout loudly and waste time just shouting instead of making the student paying more attention. There are many teachers that focus only on one student or on a certain group and don't even care of others, always look at the students with an angry face or sometimes even don't answer their questions. These teacher's behaviors make the students feel afraid, can't learn properly, hate the course, fail in grades...

On the other hand, the teacher should show the students that he/she really cares of them and most important that he/she loves them as if they are his/her kids. If anyone has a question, the teacher should answer all of them to make sure that they all understood, encourage the to be motivated, and treat all of them equally. The teacher should speak clearly to the classmates, and should not depend on punishment as a means of teaching but always should give positive expectation to students. As a result, students will love the course, try their best to succeed and take high achievements.
